A musical play for children titled "The Baggis' Journey to the Land of Oz," blending insect characters with the classic plot of "The Wizard of Oz." The story follows the insect band "The Baggis" and their singer Perla, who are swept into a magical world by a storm caused by Nissim, the grocery store owner. During the journey, the band members take on the iconic roles — the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion — in search of the wizard who can grant them a brain, a heart, and courage. Meanwhile, Debbie the bee and her agent Baz try to sabotage them along the way so that Debbie can take Perla's place as lead singer. In the end, the heroes discover that the qualities they sought were already within them, and they manage to return home while showing friendship and forgiveness toward their rivals. The play emphasizes messages of self-belief, teamwork, and the understanding that there's no place like home. Original, catchy, and moving songs. Magical sets and colorful costumes. Humor that resonates with both children and parents. An empowering message about friendship, self-belief, and inner strength. This is an immersive, colorful, and heartfelt musical that reminds us all: sometimes we search for magic far away… but home, friends, and heart are the real magic.
