What do Bach, Shostakovich, Max Richter, and even rock music have in common? At first glance — almost nothing. But that's exactly the idea behind BACH UNIVERSE. The Toccata and Fugue in D minor and the Chaconne, alongside works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Arvo Pärt, and Max Richter, create a surprising encounter between seemingly distant musical worlds. This is a concert that goes beyond the conventional idea of classical music. Familiar works take on new meaning, and Bach's ideas prove to be relevant and moving even today. Performed by a piano, violin, and cello trio, the program connects Baroque to neoclassicism, drama to delicacy, and tradition to rediscovery.
