A medical drama-thriller about an IVF unit in a hospital — set in a world where reproductive medicine is intertwined with corruption. Written by Gilit Kuzba. Directed by Dafna Zilberg. Dr. Alex Gold, a resident at "Ashikama" Hospital, struggles to come to terms with the suicide of her husband, Dr. Yonatan Gold — the head of the IVF unit, who took his own life within the hospital walls. Devastated by what happened, pregnant but determined, Alex sets out on a personal, uncompromising investigation. The deeper she digs, the more cases of cover-ups, medical corruption and dark secrets come to light — secrets that threaten to shake the entire hospital. "Angels in White" is a play about a collapsing healthcare system (not ours), about corruption that eats away even at a doctor's oath (again, not here), and about the "little people" who refuse to stay silent — and are able to change a great deal. The debut work of investigative journalist Gilit Kozeva, a former member of the "Uvda" ("Fact") program team. All characters and events in the play are the author's invention, and any resemblance to reality is coincidental.
