A new and original adaptation of the Brothers Grimm story, told from the witch's point of view. A talented and lively group of actors decides to stage the legend of "Hansel and Gretel," but none of the actors is willing or interested in playing the witch in the show... until one of the actors takes on the challenge (only with a promise from the audience that they will love him, not be afraid of him, and not laugh at him)... and so the play tells the legend from the point of view of... the witch. The siblings Hansel and Gretel are sent into the forest by their poor parents; along the way they meet a pair of funny birds who remind the children that they must trust themselves, reach out to each other, and stick to the task... When the two arrive at the candy house, various strange experiences await them, which only through courage and determination do they overcome every trouble (and make it back home...). A musical, comic adaptation featuring a host of colorful and surprising characters. Featuring 5 actors. Play and directing: Ronen Goldfarb Peled. Assistant director: Neta Haver. Music and musical direction: Liat Perlov. Set design: Shai Elkayam – "Set Up." Costumes: Ella Kolesnik. Choreography: Maya Amitai. Musical arrangements and production: Eldad Yaron.
