Alessandro Safina — My Way — Live Concert with Orchestra

The well-known, successful Italian opera star Alessandro Safina, live in concert with an orchestra. Alessandro Safina, the famous Italian tenor, will perform for the Israeli audience with a new program. The shows in Haifa and Tel Aviv will be performed by Alessandro accompanied by the great Ra'anana Symphonette Orchestra. In addition to new works, the opera and pop singer will perform beloved hits such as "La Luna", which brought him recognition and fame and won the hearts of millions of women around the world. We will also hear hits from the brilliant album "Insieme A Te", which sold a million copies. Alessandro Safina, a graduate of the Florence Conservatory, was an opera singer who took leading roles in Europe's finest theaters, in operas such as "La Bohème", "The Barber of Seville" and "The Little Mermaid". He later broke through the conventional boundaries of the art and academic worlds and created a new genre called "opera rock". Alessandro became interested in music in childhood, influenced by his parents, who were opera fans and tried to pass this passion on to their son. At 17 he was accepted to the Florence Conservatory, and a few years later he was a soloist in Europe's finest musical theaters. In 1989 he won first prize in the Katia Ricciarelli International Voice Competition, and since then has performed secondary and leading roles in operas such as "La Bohème", "The Barber of Seville", "The Elixir of Love", "Rusalka" and "Eugene Onegin". His unique voice and natural charm, his radiant charisma and creative daring, allowed him to combine opera with popular music, rock and soul, becoming the components of his worldwide success. His first single, "Luna", topped the European charts and became the main theme of the popular television series "Cloned". He also recorded the soundtrack for the film "Moulin Rouge" and performed "Music of the Night" by Andrew Lloyd Webber in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. Alessandro released five solo albums and duets with artists such as Elton John ("Your Song"), Rod Stewart ("Don't Get Around Much Anymore"), Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Andrea Bocelli and Sumi Jo. He also took part in recording Sarah Brightman's album "Symphony" and in the "Symphony World Tour 2008", which received worldwide acclaim. His records achieved gold and platinum status and gathered many fans. Safina found great success in the Netherlands, where the single "Luna" from the album "Insieme A Te" stayed at the top of the Dutch charts for 14 weeks. The album itself went platinum four times in a row and was released in another thirty countries. Alessandro Safina's show will include new songs and, of course, his greatest hits, accompanied by the symphony orchestra.
