A new musical and theatrical adaptation of the bestselling story "The Egg That Disguised Itself" by Dan Pagis. The story of an egg who is unhappy with herself and doesn't know who she is or what her role in the world is. During the show she flips over, hesitates, rolls around and disguises herself, until she finally returns to her mother the hen, who gives her the warmth and love she was looking for, and a chick hatches from the egg. In the show, the egg meets various characters and tries on costumes to find her identity. The egg moves from character to character, and after many attempts, failures and insults, she returns to what is familiar and right, and grows there. The moral of the show is to give the viewer tools to believe in themselves and the ability to grow within the situation they are in, not to give up, and to believe that everyone eventually finds their purpose and place in life.
